Umphreys McGee @ Red Rocks Amphitheater

A Colorado summer night done right!

One of my favorite things to do is travel, and I'm so thankful for the Southwest companion pass so Kaden and I can travel together ANDDD save a little bit of moolah (hollllaaa!).

We tend to just pick a place and go with it. Kaden had mentioned that one of his favorite jam bands was playing at Red Rocks, so we set off to Colorado for 4th of July weekend. Neither of us had been before, and being music nerds, this was a top venue on our list.

 Umphreys McGee was pretty incredible.

No matter what band you see, Red Rocks Amphitheater wont disappoint. It is acoustic perfection. It sits up in a small Colorado town called Morrison, about 15 miles just outside of Denver. Many performers say Red Rocks is their favorite, and I now see why. When the sun starts to set and the cooler weather kicks in, you begin to see the city  lights switch on off in the distance and it's quite a sight to see.

I have loved traveling with my best friend all Summer long. Where to next? You guys pick!

4th of July weekend at Red Rocks with Umphreys McGee was incredible!

Florida Time Share

Having to pay for a large portion of our wedding was a struggle and to be completely honest, it put us in somewhat of a financial burden. When we had initially discussed our wedding dreams, we knew we had wanted a small get together and then use the money we could have spent on a Hawaii honeymoon. FYI- small weddings are not a "thing" when you both happen to have large families.

Money got the best of us, and the hopes of a honeymoon became less of a reality. We lucked out when my aunt so generously gifted us her time-share vacation. We decided to head off to Florida and enjoy everything it had to offer! From the Florida beaches, local eats, and Universal Orlando, we had a blast!!

Best part- Butterbeer from Hogwarts inside Universal. YUMMY!!

Counting down the days until Vegas for Memorial Day weekend.
